A packed two weeks across the platform. Here are the highlights.

Chrome Extension

  • Smarter clinical question screening — fewer noisy prompts.
  • Improved AI extraction from web pages.
  • New website action UI with a status update endpoint, laying the foundation for agents to act on third-party portals on your behalf.
  • One-click dismiss button on browser actions.
  • A new browser action skillset rolling out behind a feature flag — ping your Calvient contact for early access.

AI agents

  • New Call Agent tool plus a dedicated Outbound Call toolkit.
  • Voice agents handle timeouts more gracefully and can save authorization context mid-call.
  • Service request agents can now update SRs, attach diagnoses and CPT codes, and follow your AI rules directly.
  • Inbox document agents gained tools for commenting, archiving, searching medications, and finding EHR assignees.
  • Primary document processing now runs on the faster 5.4 Nano model.
  • New cloud-based portal automation integration.

Good Faith Estimates (GFE)

End-to-end GFE workflow shipped: creation flow, refreshed PDF layout, dedicated tasklist columns, and a supporting data model.

Tasklists & workflow

  • Schedule integrations redesigned — cleaner and more flexible.
  • Task move + board functionality and a new due-date workflow.
  • Status, tags, and assignees now live as regular tasklist columns.
  • Medical policies surface as task attachments via tasklist config.
  • Condensed row heights, better skeletons, and an unread icon for messaging tasks.

EHR & sync

  • Batched patient and appointment sync for less load on EHR APIs.
  • New error-diagnostics UI surfaces EHR sync issues directly in-app.
  • Provider and patient sync improvements across our EHR integrations.
  • Larger, feature-gated batch sizes and client-local date handling for high-volume patient sync.
  • Stale EHR-matched patients refresh automatically on inbox AI match.
  • Existing appointments no longer get overwritten on refresh.
  • Cleaner handling when an EHR API is unavailable.

Inbox & documents

  • OCR runs on all attachments now.
  • Inbox sync shows the real document type instead of generic labels.
  • Workflow approval panel works on patient-less inbox items.
  • Record previews load dynamically — context fills in instead of blocking the open.

Faxing & transmissions

  • Coversheet-only fax from compile records and confirmation faxes.
  • Show all patient transmissions in task view.
  • More MIME encodings supported for email audio.
  • Fax tab aligned with the preview tab; tighter preview-and-send guard.

Patient records, medications, insurance

  • Additional detail fields on the patient medications model and updated medication AI tools.
  • Prescribing provider added to the medication list tool.
  • HCPCS improvements.
  • New insurance card artwork and viewer components for clearer in-app visuals.
  • Prior auth status checks and mappings for prescription benefit workflows.
  • New Calvient Clinical Questionnaire API for programmatic access.
  • Prior auth screen now shows the correct user name.

Messaging & search

  • "Choose recipient" dropdown for messaging paperwork.
  • Fixed unresponsive message template search inside the messaging modal.
  • Faster patient and contact search with rewritten name-search logic and improved sort order.

Newsletters & communication

  • Send-via-email option for newsletters.
  • Document-type logo configuration replaces the older "Document Logo Overlay" — more flexible.

Configuration & admin

  • Config screen IA refined for client, org, and location screens.
  • Portal credential fields wired into the org form.
  • Fixed config settings being cut off and unscrollable.
  • Per-client billing period support for arrears-to-advance transitions.
  • Invoice collision guard plus a flexible month picker.

Polish & performance

  • Reporting database improvements — faster analytics queries.
  • Password provisioning moved to a background job — no more sync waits on user creation.
  • Larger PDF processing timeouts.
  • Standardized destructive buttons, modal footers, and UI components across the app.
  • BulkActionsModal got submission guards and proper loading states.
  • Patient info + direct link on the patient-reported issue screen.
  • Roster export endpoint, expanded substitution variables for org/service templates, and three-part consolidated supported-language handling now complete.
